- Description:
Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the successful candidate will lead the Applications Development team by providing leadership in advising management on technology solutions, defining project steps and timelines, as well as coordinating, directing, and providing direction to technical staff. This includes reviewing and recommending approval of proposed technology solutions and designs, setting technical standards and providing technical expertise on complex problems, as well as serving in a quality assurance role that ensures successful adoption of the new system. This individual will function as a senior project manager on complex information technology initiatives and in that role will direct project teams, develop schedules, write and execute project plans, proposals, budgets and status reports, monitor progress and success, and manage projects to completion.

Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services (MCAPS) is seeking two full-time (40 hours/week) post-doctoral therapists for the 2012-13 academic year. We are looking for competent clinicians who would like to join a dynamic staff who are passionate about the services they provide to students. These positions are 9.5 months in duration (anticipated start August 8, 2012, extending through May 18, 2013).
The Claremont University Consortium serves The Claremont Colleges, seven private independent colleges and universities serving a highly selective student body. Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services is one of three services in Student Health and Counseling Services, and is staffed by licensed, doctoral-level senior-staff psychologists, who provide supervision for the post-doctoral therapists and pre-doctoral interns. MCAPS works collaboratively with two other student services: Student Health Services, and Health Education & Outreach.
Compensation and Benefits:
Full-time post-doctoral stipend: $25,000. Post-doctoral staff members are eligible for medical, dental, life insurance, and retirement benefits (employer contribution equal to 10% of annual salary). Four weeks of leave time is scheduled over winter break. Reimbursement for professional liability insurance is available. Reimbursement and release time for professional development may be available, upon approval.
The full-time post-doctoral experience is structured such that it meets all requirements for the 1500 hours of post-doctoral Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) necessary for licensure in California. Note that it is the post-doctoral candidate’s responsibility to determine whether this placement will meet the requirements for licensure in other states, as some states require more than 1500 hours of SPE and may have additional regulations regarding these hours.

The Claremont University Consortium serves seven private independent colleges and universities serving a highly selective student body. The Claremont Colleges are located in the charming town of Claremont, which is 40 miles east of Los Angeles in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains and less than an hour from several local beaches. The Colleges are comprised of Pomona College, Scripps College, Harvey Mudd College, Claremont McKenna College, Pitzer College, the Keck Institute, and Claremont Graduate University.
Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services consists of 13 clinicians, including the trainees. Supervision is provided by licensed, doctoral-level, senior staff members. In addition to the two part-time interns, we also train 2 full-time post-doctoral staff therapists. We are looking for competent clinicians-in-training who will enjoy joining an energetic, enthusiastic staff for the 2012-13 academic year.
This is a 24-hour-per-week, 9.5-month position (anticipated start August 8, 2011, extending through May 18, 2012). We require interns to be present on Wednesdays, but the schedule may flexible in terms of the other 2 days, depending on office space availability.
Stipend:
The stipend for 9.5 months is $2,000. Four weeks of leave time is scheduled over winter break, and one week over spring break. Interns may need to work on some holidays, if falling on a normally scheduled day for the intern. Reimbursement for professional liability insurance is available. Release time and funding for professional development may be available, upon approval.
Training:
Psychology interns are provided a minimum of 2 hours of individual, face-to-face supervision weekly. In addition, they participate in 2 hours of group supervision, and 1 hour of didactic training per week.

- Description:
The Collection Management & Digital Integration (CMDI) Librarian provides leadership and coordination for collection development activities of the Claremont Colleges Library including policy development, planning, collection promotion, budget management, and collection analysis, assessment and review. The CMDI Librarian leads the development of new methods of resource evaluation, delivery and discovery that connect the Claremont Colleges community members to information resources. The CMDI Librarian's user-focused perspective guides the implementation and integration of discovery and other web tools to enhance the online user experience. As a member of the Collections Services management team, this position reports to the Assistant Director for Collections Services.
