The Claremont Colleges Library seeks an energetic, innovative, knowledgeable, and productive librarian to join its new leadership team as Director of User Services and Resource Sharing (USERS).  This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, service-oriented professional with strong planning, organizational, management, communication, and assessment skills to help transform the library into a vibrant, exciting, and user-driven physical and virtual center for teaching, learning, and research.  Reporting to the Dean of the Library, and working closely with other members of the leadership team, the successful candidate will have broad responsibility for ensuring that the library goes the extra mile to surpass the needs of its users creatively, efficiently, and effectively.

Overview

The Director will oversee a newly-created division within the library.  USERS will strive to provide excellent customer service to library patrons, both in-person at integrated service desks and virtually. USERS will collaborate in ensuring discoverability of information resources and further enhancing the user experience through innovative programs, such as patron-driven acquisitions and borrowing; and interlibrary loan purchasing.  The Director will also seek creative new approaches to more traditional access services, such as circulation and reserves, resource sharing, document delivery, and collection
management.

The Director will have broad responsibility for managing and operating the Honnold/Mudd Library building and facilities.  The incumbent will play a leading role in master planning for building renovations, refurbishments, new teaching and learning spaces, information technology, and facilities.  The Director will also organize and manage the library’s involvement in the Records Center, an offsite print collections
storage center.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further contribute to the success of the library through a liaison assignment in the new Research, Teaching and Learning Services (RTLS) division.  RTLS provides an innovative matrix approach to enhancing the user experience through a compelling package of Information Literacy Instruction, Research Services, acquisition of Information Resources, outreach and liaison to the colleges, and programmatic activities.

Description:

The Technical Support and Training Manager oversees all IT end user services. The Manager works with the Director of IT and IT staff to ensure proactive end user IT support that is aligned with the organization’s goals. The Manager’s primary responsibility is the management of the delivery and support of end-user information technology in a pro-active and customer friendly service delivery model consistent with the organization’s environment and architecture. The Manager will also serve as the IT Trainer for the organization with responsibility for developing , facilitating and ensuring end users are trained in the use of productivity applications, software and VoIP phone system. 

Through a hands on leadership role, this person will leverage a technical support team to deliver high quality, full time, IT support in a primarily PC/Windows environmental using a variety of business and productivity applications, including the training, definition, documentation, deployment, and troubleshooting of the complete end-user hardware environment including but not limited to: desktop/laptops, AV support, printers and multi-function devices and a variety of associated software programs and packages.

Description:

Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services (MCAPS) is seeking 24 hours of psychiatric services per week for the students of The Claremont Colleges.   The Psychiatrist(s) will be providing psychiatric assessments/medication evaluations with medication check appointments for an undergraduate and graduate student population.  

The Psychiatrist(s) will not be an employee of Claremont University Consortium (CUC), but will provide services to CUC on a contract basis. The individual(s) and will need need to provide proof of malpractice insurance, Worker's Compensation coverage and other coverages as requested by CUC.

The Psychiatrist will see patients during the academic year and will not provide services during the Winter and Summer breaks.
